Platform Fee Schedule

How It Works

When a ShopGiv shopper buys from your business and logs the sale in ShopGiv, you review it and approve or reject it. A sale you don't act on may be approved automatically after a review period. On each approved sale — including a sale to a customer you already had — you owe the giveback you set in your dashboard. Your giveback is attributed to the cause the shopper chose.

What You Pay

• Your giveback, at the rate or amount you set, within any cap you set, on approved sales logged in ShopGiv. You can change it in your dashboard.
• Payment processing on your monthly giveback total, so the rate you set is not your whole cost.
• Your giveback and processing are totalled at the end of each month and charged by auto-pay to the card or bank account you connect. Any amount not collected by auto-pay is due within 30 days of the invoice.
• ShopGiv's share is … of your giveback. It comes out of the giveback, not on top of it, and funds ShopGiv's operations.

Sign-Up Fee

There is no sign-up fee to join ShopGiv until ShopGiv reaches 5,000 shoppers. If your application is submitted before ShopGiv reaches 5,000 shoppers, your sign-up fee is waived permanently. “Shoppers” means ShopGiv app shopper accounts, not business, nonprofit or staff accounts, as counted by ShopGiv. We will tell you when ShopGiv reaches 5,000 shoppers.

Membership Fees

ShopGiv may introduce membership fees after it reaches 5,000 shoppers. The waiver covers the sign-up fee only; it is not a promise of free membership. We will give you at least 30 days' written notice before any new fee takes effect, and you may remove your business from ShopGiv before it does without paying that fee.

Optional Paid Add-Ons

Optional paid add-ons, if offered, are extra and apply only if you choose one.

Taxes

ShopGiv does not say your giveback is tax-deductible. How to treat it for tax purposes is a question for your accountant.

Leaving ShopGiv

There is no minimum term for your ShopGiv listing. You're free to remove your business at any time, without a cancellation fee. Givebacks remain owed on sales logged before you leave that are approved, including those approved automatically. A paid add-on you chose follows its own stated terms.
